What a night to remember! On September 20 2024, the Food & Beverage Manitoba Awards Gala brought together the best of Manitoba’s food and beverage industry for a vibrant evening of celebration, recognition, and community.
The Metropolitan Entertainment Centre set the stage with its classic, elegant vibes, perfectly complimenting an event full of inspiring stories, heartfelt cheers, and delicious dishes. Natalie Bell, also known as pegcitylovely, lit up the night with her lively and engaging MC’ing, ensuring the energy stayed high and every moment was unforgettable. It was more than just an awards ceremony — it was a tribute to the spirit, innovation, and camaraderie of Manitoba’s culinary scene.
A massive congratulations to this year’s winners of the Manitoba Made Awards, who have truly set the bar high! Utoffeea took home the Business Development Award, with their irresistible toffee and popcorn bringing the sweet flavors of Manitoba to new heights. The Branding Award saw a thrilling tie, with Smak Dab Mustard winning for their fresh, clever marketing of the most delicious mustards in town, and Sheep Dog Brew Co. standing out for their bold and memorable branding that matches their unforgettable cold brews. Dinkum HACCP Consultants earned the title of Associate of the Year, recognized for their dedication to food safety and their support for local businesses striving to grow and maintain quality. Wolseley Kombucha won the Sustainability Award for their eco-friendly brewing and waste-reducing practices, proving that great taste and environmental care can go hand in hand. Finally, Cranked Energy Bars earned the Community Engagement Award for fueling more than just our energy—they’re fueling community support, donating, and uplifting local causes with every bite.
We are also pleased to award our first ever People’s Choice Flavour Award to Wolseley Kombucha! With an amazing show of support from Manitoban consumers and taste connoisseurs, their votes brought Wolseley Kombucha to the forefront as the premiere purveyor of fresh flavours to Manitoba’s taste buds!
